The surface load of elements is the key factor to the optimum service life of the element that correctly select from the surface load of the element according to the furnace construction, atmosphere and temperature. Left
figure shows the relation between the furnace temperature, the element temperature and the element surface load under the condition that the element radiation isn't obstructed. The gray part in the figure shows the surface load-- temperature range in common use.
The figure still shows the reference current.
